California Trip Day 3 Part 2- Picture Heavy!

I enjoyed the parade.  It's either the same parade we had at Hollywood Studios or just the same music.  I've never actually seen our parade but I've been at Front Usher and heard the music and it was the same.

We rode the Monster's Inc Ride, Muppetvision 3D, and The Little Mermaid, Ariel's Undersea Adventure and then rode Radiator Springs again (apparently, we had gotten another Fast Pass that I don't remember!)

We had just a few minutes before dinner but we headed over to the Mad Tea Party area because I wanted to try one of the drinks. (although I don't remember which one I got but it was good!)

It was dinner time and we had reservations at Ariel's Grotto for the World of Color Dinner.

For the appetizer I had a Crab Chowder that was sooo good!

And Kory had Butternut Squash Bisque

I thought the roll presentation was cute

While we were waiting for our entree, we noticed a big group of ducks swimming around.  Then later there was a baby duck all by himself quacking and seemed to be searching for his party.  It was so sad!  Then later a bigger duck came over and seemed to be looking for him.

Anyways, for the entree we both got the Grilled Lobster Tail and Red Oak Smoked Honey-Whiskey Barbecue Tri-Tip

It was okay.  The lobster was a little tough and I wasn't a fan of the sauce on the meat.

Then each person gets their own one of these for dessert!!  Chocolate Covered Strawberry, S’mores Bar & Creme Brulee.  It was sooo good!

Here's the bad part.  Our service was horrible.  When we sat down, there were still a bunch of people eating and even being sat after us.  Our soups came out at a normal time.  But our entrees took FOREVER.  Almost everyone that was seated was gone and there was only one table left (they came in after us and were finishing up dessert).  We mentioned the fact that we still hadn't gotten our entrees to the waiter and he blamed the kitchen.  Um, no.  When everyone else is getting their food, it's probably not the kitchen's fault.

Anyways, we got our passes for the World of Color and went and got in line.  When we were led into the viewing area, we were right in the very, very front.  They warned us that we might get wet.  I thought we'd get misted on a little.  Not soaked like we were at the Shamu show!!  Gah!  Trying to take pictures was horrible because I was so afraid my camera was going to get ruined so I'd take a shot and then hide the camera in my coat.  Next time I'd either bring a poncho or sit farther back.

It really is a fabulous show and I sooo hope they bring it to WDW!

Here are the shots with my good camera.

Playing around before the show

On with the show...

We went back in Carsland so I could quickly take some pictures with my good camera.

Carthay Circle

Disneyland was open until midnight again so we went over and rode a couple of rides again before calling it a night.
