Weekly Recap- July 1- July 7, 2013

This week I finished the Runners World Run Streak with a bang! I ran at least 1 mile every day ( and 2 times on Monday to make up for the fact that I started a day late).  Then on Thursday, I ran the Hilton Head Firecracker 5000 and met both of my goals: to run the whole race and get a sub 30 mins.  I took two days off after and I have to admit it.  Rest days feel good!

Monday-- 1 mile in 9:10, 1 mile in 9:04
Tuesday-- 3.01 miles in 31:06 (Mile 1: 10:28, Mile 2: 10:43, Mile 3: 9:52, Average Pace: 10:20)
Wednesday-- 1 mile in 9:42
Thursday-- 3.11 miles in 29:18 (although official time says 29:44, I think its off).  (Mile 1: 9:19, Mile 2: 9:22, Mile 3: 9:42, Mile 3- 3.11: 8:36, average pace: 9:26)
Sunday-- 2 miles in 19:39 (Miles 1, 2, and average pace were all 9:49)

Total miles this week: 11.12
Total miles in 2013: 272.55
Total miles: 701.04


  1. Great week! Congrat's on meeting both of your goals, it's a great feeling!
    I love having more than one goal for a race, it's helpful to me (mentally) to go in with a few.
    You are speedy, 9:09 is my goal race pace but I have serious doubts that I will EVER get there!

    1. You're speedier than me! 9:09 sounds so fast! If the official time is right, then I guess my next goal is 29:40 but if my app is right, then I'll shoot for 29:15!
