A few months ago I was contacted to review a pair of Crazy Compression Socks.
I checked out their website and loved how cute the socks were! I agreed and received the Wall of Diamonds. Super cute!
I have had a bad running injury and haven't been able to run, so I haven't been able to test them out. But the other day I played softball for the first time all season (I still wasn't supposed to because of my leg but we were short on girls and if I didn't play, they'd be penalized). So instead of wearing my normal purple softball socks, I decided to wear these. They matched perfectly and I think they really helped. I was nervous about batting because of the whole running the bases thing but I had no pain and I think the Crazy Compression socks were part of it!
Plain purple on the front
And Crazy pattern on the back!
I read somewhere that compression socks are like hugs for your legs and I totally agree!
Crazy Compression has been generous enough to offer up a pair of socks to one winner (US only)!
Enter using the Rafflecopter below (and yes, I do double check entries to make sure they were completed!)
( Disclaimer: Crazy Compression provided me with the product to review but I received no compensation for this post. As always, the opinions here are my own.)

Giveaway- Rock City Skirts
I am a total girly girl. I love anything pretty and sparkly and girly. And when running, I LOVE to run in skirts. And when I saw that Rock City Skirts was also sparkly, I was sold!
I was looking through all of the skirts and I had such a hard time deciding what to order. My friends and I were also deciding on costumes for the Dumbo Double Dare race in August/September at Disneyland. After looking through the skirts, we came up with a great plan! I also needed a skirt for the Fourth of July race I was running. And I saw a custom one that Rock City Skirts had made in Gator colors (orange and blue) and I have a Gridiron 5k coming up, so I knew I needed that one too! And I saw that they had a couple of specials going on, including the buy 5 get one free, so I decided on a pink skirt as well.
I couldn't wait to get them! (and they arrived so quickly!)
Look at all the pretty sparkly skirts!!
I wore my first one for the Fourth of July race and it was so comfy. Now be warned, these skirts do NOT come with shorts underneath. But I knew that going in and just wore one of my tight shorts underneath. No problem!
I got so many compliments on my skirt. One lady said that my skirt made her happy!
And Rock City Skirts gives back too. They're committed to continued support of Team World Vision and their efforts to change lives in Africa and Haiti. $1 of every skirt sale will be donated to Team World Vision.
I can't wait to wear my Gator Skirt at the end of the month! It's going to be so cute!
And thanks to Rock City Skirts, I have one skirt to giveaway to you! You can win a skirt of your choice, $30 or less.

* Disclosure: I bought my own skirts and was offered one to give away for free. The opinions are always my own.

Review- Gone for a Run Shirt
I love t-shirts. But they have to have 2 requirements: be cute and be comfy. And when I came across Gone For a Run's t-shirts, I couldn't believe how adorable they were (requirement #1)! I was lucky enough to be able to review one of my choosing.
I chose the Womens Everyday Runners Tee Run Like a Beast in the Storm Indigo color.
When I got it, I knew right away that it filled requirement #2--it was soooo soft! I saved this shirt to wear after my 4th of July race and I got so many compliments on it.
It was so comfy that I wore it again a few days later for the car ride home (I have to be comfortable if I'm going to be stuck in a car for 6 hours!) The color and fit were perfect!
I seriously want more of these t-shirts (I have a birthday coming up, hint hint! I'm a size medium :) )

Or how about But Gone For a Run doesn't just have tees. They also make medal hangers. I specially ordered one for a friend and it came out beautifully! They have bibfolios, bib coasters, jewelry, phone cases, and much, much more. I love browsing through their site because I'm always finding new things to add to my wish list!
The next time you're looking for something run-specific or a gift for a runner, check them out!

Ready for the Race- Expedition Everest
I helped at the Raw Threads booth this morning. So much fun! Then I met Ashley, The Pavement Princess, to get my race packet. I'm on Team Shake & Bake! Number 3359 in Corral F. Here's what we got in our bag. (well, the Lasting Commemorative card I had voucher for so technically it didn't come in the bag).
I love runDisney races!! I am addicted to them. Unfortunately, I DON'T love their unisex tech shirts. They just don't fit right! But hopefully, starting with the 2014 Marathon weekend, they'll be doing gender specific shirts!
Here's the shirt I'm running in from Raw Threads. So cute! All white sections on the front and back are glow-in-the-dark. Perfect for a night race!
The race starts at 10:00 and we're meeting at 8:15. Here's hoping that I don't act silly and sprain my ankle again (although we still got a pretty good result)! I can't wait!

We got a clue in the bag. I started to fill it out but thought I should leave it in case someone didn't want to see the answer.

Ready for the Race- Run in the Garden 5k
Cori and I picked up our race packets at Tri & Run of West Orange on Wednesday.
Here's the shirt we got in our race packet
I'm looking forward to this race. We signed up for it last year but I got a stomach virus over night so we didn't run. It's a chip-timed 5k. This will probably be our last race until the Dumbo Double Dare in September. So sad!
Alarm's set for 6:30, race starts at 7:30!

Ready for the Race--Dawn Brancheau Foundation Dream Big 5k
Cori and I picked up our race packets for the Dawn Brancheau Foundation Dreak Big 5k. This is the third year they've held the race in honor of the whale trainer who was killed (and we've run it each time). We like running through Sea World.
We got a bumper sticker and coupon for 50% off a one-day Sea World ticket (which I forgot to take a picture of ) along with the tshirt.

When we got there and signed our waivers, they were giving out the race bibs from three piles on the table. Cori got number 62 and I got 239. I asked if I could get the one after her since that's probably the lowest race bib number I'd ever get. They laughed and said of course. So I'm number 63.
Our outfits are ready to go. The alarm is set for 6:10 and the race starts at 7:30.

Ready for the Race-Winter Park 10k
I'm all ready for the 2013 Winter Park Road Race 10k tomorrow morning. I picked up my race packet yesterday at Track Shack. The only good we got was our tech tee. But I think it's much cute than last year (and I was able to get an extra small so it fits!!)
Bella had to be in the picture too
I got my outfit together tonight. The socks don't quite match--they're a little bluer than the shirt and skirt but I can't find my white ones and I don't have gray ones. And I'm excited to finally wear an outfit where my shoes don't clash!
The alarm is set for 5:15 and race time is 7:30!
